The Garam-ro Wall 2026-10 · Fictional: the Solmoe high-rise estates and the Araetgol low-rise quarter · Small-unit actions · Fictional situation
Terrain map Your role You command 1st Platoon, mechanised infantry: four infantry fighting vehicles and three squads, about 36 soldiers. An engineer build team and a drone operator are attached, and you work alongside a platoon of the local partner guard force. The opponent is the Grey force, a fictional militia.
Higher commander's intent Company commander’s intent: stop the Grey force crossing Garam-ro from Araetgol onto the hillside to fire rockets. That means re-establishing Checkpoint 7 and finishing the Garam-ro barrier within four days, without wrecking residents’ lives or the partner force’s trust.
Situation Enemy: 30–60 Grey militia live among the residents of the Araetgol low-rise quarter. They use anti-tank rockets, snipers, small rockets and IEDs, and often plant devices under rubbish and attack checkpoints and construction units. Friendly: the company combat outpost is at the north end of Nuri-ro, with the company support platoon (two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles) as quick reaction force. A platoon of the partner guard force holds the post at the north-west end of Garam-ro. Civil: residents live in the Solmoe and Beodeul estates and throughout Araetgol. Beodeul is a no-fire area.
Mission 1st Platoon re-establishes Checkpoint 7 by 2100 on D-day and, until D+4, covers the engineer build team constructing a barrier about 370 m along Garam-ro from the checkpoint to the partner post.
