The Blue-Roof House 2026-05-14 · Fictional: the lower lane of Haesol-dong hillside village · Small-unit actions · Fictional situation
Terrain map Your role You lead 1st Squad, 2nd Platoon: nine soldiers including you, clearing the houses along the lower lane of Haesol-dong hillside village one by one, working uphill. The situation is fictional; the opponent is a fictional Grey force team without national markings. Most residents of the block left yesterday.
Higher commander's intent Deny the Grey force the village lanes as a base for blocking the hillside road. Clear the lower lane and hand it to 3rd Squad by 1200, keeping both the remaining residents and the squad safe.
Situation Enemy: several Grey teams of two or three hold houses in the hillside village and watch the hillside road. They carry rifles and automatic weapons and move between houses across roofs and rooftop terraces. Friendly: 2nd Platoon clears three lanes: 1st Squad (you) the lower lane, 2nd Squad the north end of the upper lane, 3rd Squad the stair lane to the south as the outer cordon. The platoon machine-gun team is on the hillside road. Residents: the evacuation finished yesterday, but an elderly couple stayed on in one house on the lower lane (confirmed by the platoon). Terrain and weather: a steep, terraced village. Most houses have three storeys, and the upper lane runs level with the second floor of the lower-lane houses. Vehicles can use only the lower road and the hillside road. A clear morning with a sea breeze.
Mission 1st Squad clears and secures the houses on the east side of the lower lane, Objective BLUEROOF included, and hands them to 3rd Squad by 1200.
