October 18 update — five more small-unit scenarios, fictional exercises on real ground
Five more small-unit scenarios
- Reconstructions: the glider assault on Fort Eben-Emael (1940), the Ranger assault at Pointe du Hoc (1944) and the Pebble Island raid (1982).
- Fictional: Crossroads Block (a squad blocking a gray-zone crossroads) and The Lone Mill (entering and clearing an empty facility).
- That makes 12 small-unit and exercise scenarios.
Fictional exercises on real ground
- Fog Ridge, Trench Foothold, Cheongsol Ford, Ashen Wind and Crossroads Block now sit on real relief maps and satellite imagery. The situations and place names are fictional.
- The Son Tay raid map moved from a schematic to the real terrain.
Sign-in changes and privacy policy amendment (effective October 18)
- Battles, small-unit scenarios, exercises, Today's TDG, after-action reviews, challenge links, and bot and daily duels work without signing in. Records stay on this device and move to your account when you sign in with Google.
- Saved history across devices, Command Rating, leaderboards, sharing "what I missed", friend and ranked duels, hosting instructor rooms and payments need a Google sign-in.
- Without signing in no server account is created. Instructor-room votes, the choice split and bot-duel verdict ratings are taken with a random device identifier only.
- The privacy policy and terms were updated accordingly. Earlier anonymous records on this device carry over when you sign in with Google.
Pricing: yearly plans and a new Group price (effective October 18)
- Individual Plus now has a yearly plan at $79 a year. Monthly stays at $8.99.
- Group (Instructor Mode, one instructor and up to 30 trainees) is $79 a month or $790 a year, with the instructor's own Plus included.
- Trainees take part free inside the instructor's rooms and class assignments (voting, class tasks). Their own accounts do not get Plus features.
- The Battle Pack ($14.99, one-time) and the free Instructor Mode trial (once every 30 days, 6 trainees) are unchanged.
- English pages charge in US dollars and Korean pages in won. For institutional quotes and tax invoices, email honeybadger@hbcrossborder.com.
- During the beta every feature stays open, as before. The terms were updated accordingly.
